aug 6. a trip to calgary means a day spent a sephora getting color matched and picking a pallet that i will most likely not have time to apply in the morning. I anticipate many slept in mornings when one has to wake up at the crack of dawn to satisfy the commute.

  • bareMinerals SPF 15 Matte Foundation. Liquid foundation and Kelowna heat? NOT FRIENDS. The one I'm currently using is SPF 20, but i doubt it's still effective if it becomes a sweat emulsion fifteen minutes after i walk into daylight.
  • Sugar Rosé Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15. I don't dig lipstick. How unglamorous.
  • Milk Proteins 3 in 1 Cleansing Emulsion. Low maintenance is my first, middle, and lat name when it comes to skin care. Bad principle, I know. It removes make up, cleanses and moisturizes though, even the rigid regimen girl can't refuse that.
  • Smashbox Eyeshadow Trio. Been using this one since grade 9.
  • Floral Slanted Tweezer. I lost my tweezers and people know all to well I have a problem with floral designs.
  • Tarte Eyeliner Sharpener. My pencils are not the only thing that need a new sharpener.

JUMPSUITS BY ANTONIO BERARDI RESORT 2010

the foundation of the collection was comprised of mini dresses and justly so.
"If there's one thing that can be said about the Antonio Berardi woman, it's that she likes a leggy dress."

but i wanted to dedicate this post to jumpsuits. they've made an outrageously sneaky and high impact come back. they're incredibly hard to pull off and can have most unflattering results but it's difficult to heed these warnings when berardi's pieces make it look so easy.

i tried on a jumpsuit the other day, as a joke, but the real joke was on me because i fell in love with it.

Furthermore on the excitement that is Coco Before Chanel...

    Classic androgyny.

I switched computers and lost the primary source of these stills, but see IMBD for the general info about Anne Fontaine's Coco Before Chanel

The following garment description is nothing extraordinary.

"This black tank-dress is like a t-shirt only long enough to cover your "bathing suit area." It has a nice picture of a strange mystical drug-cat that has the bells of mystery reflected in his eternal eyes. You can use this dress to get into secret underground "cat clubs" all across the country where the homeless and insane mingle with the feline wizards that control international culture and finance."

    I am camera-less.

I don't think I will be posting any original photography to my blog or my flickr for quite some time. I've left all my cameras in my apartment thinking that I would have no opportunity to venture and here I am sitting in my boyfriend's basement with less hours at work than requested and bored witless with nothing to do but vent to my invisible readers.

I used to log onto sneaker sites that had the "create your own [insert model name here]" functions and that would entertain me for about fifteen minutes until I got over it and went and watched bad mid-day television. Today, I customized my own "Aristotle" by Republic Bike.

Usually, I don't visually agree with orange.

Do not be mislead by their band name. They're actually from Brooklyn.

ARS had a most excellent spread in Death + Taxes but I couldn't find photos online and am deprived of a scanner, therefore these equally excellent visuals must suffice for now. The short blurb on the first page instructed the reader to take style notes from the following pages which I have obediently done so. Despite being born and bred American song birds their wardrobe and reeks of croissants, red berets, and A.P.C.

    >I have to note that my friend Caden here is an exceptionally cooperative model and photogenic beyond beleif. Back in June we were partnered or a free form project in our literature class where we matched photography with selected exerpts from classic poetry. i can't quite remember what poem we paired these photos too but they were my favorite.

If I take my photography anywhere in the fashion industry, I would want to compose an editorial with these tones, same environment, a white sheet and some modest lingerie with feminie detailing as a focus on texture.

i'm not an advocator of putting downpayments on accessories but i'm sure there is a vast majority of people who would delight in knowing, for knowings sake.

    an authentic Hermes Birkin features:

  • specialty hardware (often gold plated, thus will not wear down)
  • even stitching throughout
  • craftsman's marks
  • parelell interior leather zipper tag

  • harmony

i rarely ever find the ideal combination of runway photos, style notes and such but i particularly like that she pays attention to photographers and encourages readers to view their work.

i've often tried to acheive a format with the same simplicity and monorchomatic harmony and a consistent output of content surrounding general fashion but i confess, STELLASTEFF still seems experimental. With post varying between music worship, photographic ventures, emotional purges and a strong focus on leggings it's a myriad of personal interest rather than a structured pool of information.

Found NERDY-TRENDY via COCO'S TEA PARTY. Both of which have been added to "I'M A REGULAR"

"can i take a picture of you?"

Her first interview? Blasphemy. An embodiment of french quirkiness and gentle never pompous class.

I was recently reminded that Tautou is starring in the Coco Chanel bio-pic, Coco Before Chanel.

I deeply love her performance in Amelie. As she gains fame, I hope she retains her glowing, yet modest demure.

Please watch to the very end (if you please), it's just too endearing.

I've fulfilled my daily online routine. Mundane as it all was, I encountered this image and bumped my average day to a superlative status.
